Mercedes Alpine system codes
Kevin 2009-04-14 19:07:50
I have CC1 v0.3 on CarProg and I notice that when I enter the same serial number (except for the two letters) for Mercedes Becker and Mercedes Alpine, it gives the same code. I would be surprised if this is correct. Are you sure that the software is valid for the Alpine models?

The reason I tried it was to find a solution to 2910 system (Audio 10 variant). Mercedes are providing codes to owners over the phone, so I assume it must be possible to derive code from serial number. Any ideas?

No mate 2910 is dump i have try alot of serial decoding software i never see 2910 or 2199 on serial. Read 24cxx to get dump with carprog tools.
From there you can get code for the car radio.
