MC68HC908AZ60 2J74Y processor already programmed for repair Mercedes Benz Vito CDI 1999-2004 dashboard. Defective instrument cluster symptoms – dashboard not switch ON at all, all lamps blinking, sometimes all pointers go back to “0” positions and dashboard restart’s itself.

Repair instructions:

Try to read and save defective dashboard EEPROM memory using CarProg S7.2 software by dashboard black connector – in this case you can save original dashboard settings. If dashboard is totally dead you must read 2J74Y internal EEPROM with CarProg HC08 programmer. This is important – save original dashboard dump.  After - just exchange 68HC908AZ60 2J74Y processor inside and program back original EEPROM by OBDII connector. In this EEPROM are stored some user settings like mileage, motor type, miles-km. Spare part processors from CODECARD have 155000km programmed.
