Using SPEEDSTOP on Touareg 2018+: (hazard indicator on speedometer blinks every time when working mode are changed­): 

• Push 3x Return button or 4x High Beam switch (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 1 time). To finish SPEEDSTOP enable procedure, switch ignition OFF, close car and wait ~2 minutes (untill car electronic switches OFF) = Odometer freezed, Speedometer shows actual speed; 
• Push 3x Return button or 4x High Beam switch (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 2 time) = Odometer counts 10% of driven distance (10km counted after 100km), Speedometer shows actual speed;
• Push 3x Return button or 4x High Beam switch (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 3 time) = back to normal mode, Odometer and Speedometer works as normal.

After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.

If you remove SPEEDSTOP adapter after test drive, odometer not changing.
