 For BMW cars testing. While car drive test is possible to stop (freeze) odometer counting. 

Plug and Play device with easiest connection way possible, no soldering is required in the installation process.

Works with :

• BMW 2 with iDrive8 curved screen: G82, F44, G42, (2022-2026)
• BMW 3, M3 with iDrive8 curved screen: G20, G21, G80, G81,  (2023-2026)
• BMW 4, i4 with iDrive8 curved screen:  G22, G23, G26, G82, (2023-2026)

Instalation SPEEDSTOP on BMW:
Find the BCP (Basis Central Platform) module—also sometimes referred to as the BDC (Body Domain Controller) in some contexts—is typically located in the passenger-side footwell.  Disconnect white connector CON7 and connect speedstop like in picture. 

Using SPEEDSTOP on BMW:



(hazard indicator on speedometer blinks every time when working mode are changed­) : 

---> Mode1: Press and hold BC button for 6 sec, hazard indicator on speedometer blinks 1 time - Odometer freezed, Speed indicator shows actual speed (updated function, odometer count 200 meters in 100km drive);   
---> Mode2: Press and hold BC button for 6 sec, hazard indicator on speedometer blinks 2 times - Odometer counts 10km for each 100km driven, Speed indicator show 10% of actual speed (use this option for updated instrument clusters 2018+, when odometer after few kilometers start to count again);

---> Mode3: Press and hold BC button for 6 sec, hazard indicator on speedometer blinks 3 times - Odometer counts about 25km for each 100km driven, Speed indicator shows actual speed ;

---> Mode4: Press and hold BC button for 6 sec, hazard indicator on speedometer blinks 3 times - Odometer counts about 35km for each 100km driven, Speed indicator shows actual speed (use this option for updated instrument clusters 2022+);

---> Bypass: Press and hold BC button for 6 sec, hazard indicator on speedometer blinks 5 times - Odometer and Speed indicator works like without SPEEDSTOP device.

  After Ignition OFF/ON, the SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.



FAQ:

Board computer does not work correctly with BMW SPEEDSTOP and it's NORMAL. Car computer can't calculate these values without knowing drived kilometers. With SPEEDSTOP activated, cluster BC ( Average fuel consumption,   Current fuel consumption, Fuel )  and Navigation monitor ( Displays on the Control Display :  "Onboard info" or "Trip computer"  > Cruising range, > Distance from destination,  > Fuel economy )  will show incorrect values. After SPEEDSTOP deactivation you must RESET board computer  from BC and Navigation Menu. After this BC will start to work correctly again.

Service reminder calculation does not work correctly with BMW SPEEDSTOP and it's NORMAL. When you receive board computer message about "Service reminder",  we recommend "Reset service manually from instrument cluster (see video:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmgAPKggASA  )
