CarProg Volvo key programmer functions:

• Volvo year 1999-2001 (with older type CEM) key programmer: you need remove CEM (central electric module) from car, open it and read 28F400 flash (using Beeprog or other programmer). CarProg will generate transponder key and prepare new 28F400 file. This file you must write back to flash memory and transponder is ready to start the car. Use older type Megamos crypto transponder: UM1 (user memory 1) must be not readable, transponder non locked.
• Volvo year 2001-2005 (with newer type CEM) key programmer: you need remove CEM (central electric module) from car, open it and read 28F400 flash (using Beeprog or other programmer). CarProg will generate transponder key and prepare new 28F400 file. This file you must write back to flash memory and transponder is ready to start the car. Use Megamos crypto transponder: transponder non locked.
