Adapter is with reversed pins. On many older dashboards like DENSO, YAZAKI  EEPROM is soldered in same side as pointer motor and is no access to use CLIP. With this spring EEPROM programming adapter you can program EEPROM from soldering side - no need to remove needles and EEPROM.
