bad communication

| hi,my name is chrisilios.i try to code a new key in a vw golf mk4 diesel and i had an error. VW GOLF MK4 CHASSIS NO:WVWZZZ1JZ2W176624 ENGINE NO:AGR 384 045 DASH:VDO V11 DASH PART NO:1JO 920 806 EX i can read the code 1691 the km, dash part number and all the informations.now the code in a vw mk4 it had ti be 5 digits.i read a 4 digit code 1691 so i try 01691 and nothing.when i try to code the key i had the error bad communication.can you help me please? |

| Use Vag-Com to try and adapt the system. With Va-Com got to: 17 Instrument Cluster 11 Login Type your number 01691 Go to: 08 Measured values (data blocks) Type 024 and look at the 4 fields. All should indicate 0.0 That means that the Immobilizer is not locked. If you did lock the Immobilizer, it is locked for 10 minutes the first time, then 20 the next time (if the wrong number is used) If it is locked, leave the key ON and watch the time count down to 0.0 You do need to post why you're trying to login. |
