A6 or A5 adapter?
Stefano 2009-04-08 20:58:01
Hello everyone

What EEPROM adapter should I use for M95xxx EEPROMs SO8, the small ones?

I have a DIP8 adapter but it seems too big. Sorry if I ask but I am really a newbie in this

SOIC is what you need, DIP will never work. This one works very good.

Thanks Agostino, however it would be very useful if there was a sort of manual with CARPROG showing how to do this things correctly, for example how to connect the clip onto the EEPROM, when and where you need to ground pins, etc...

Use google and begin your research.

Pin 1 on the programmer connects to Pin1 of the eeprom and so on. This site has diagrams to show you the connections.
Search out the eeprom documents from the manufacturer, the designations are there.
