| Hello guys... I desoldered a 95C86W6 EEPROM from an airco control and connected it to CARPROG with the A6 connector. If I do not choose "read/verify" the reading is empty, but if I do check che "read/verify" I get all the times a different reading with a "Verify Error" and the reading output is full of yellow-coloured squares. Am I doing something wrong? I get the same when trying to read from a 93Cxx still soldered on a circuit.... |

| Test this. Get a new 95C86 and write data to it using the adapter. Use data from any cluster. Read the data again. Different data when reading can mean a few things. 1. The connection is not clean 2. The connection is not secure 3. The clip is not mounted in the IC 4. The A6 connection is not secure or clean |

| Hello Agostino, I desoldered a 95C320 from a CAN Gateway and connected it to CARPROG with the A6 connector. One thing, I think these EEPROM are "narrow" type and the Pomona adapter is a little bit too big to plug the contacts properly. Anyway, I managed to read the EEPROM but if I do it twice in a row I get two different readings, always the same. |

| You should then find a better connector like the 3m for SOIC. | ||||
