Kia Air bag reset tool

| Dear fellows, I intend to buy the carprog tool with the kia airbag reset software initially. Before spending my money on this I do some investigation for the capabilities of the package. So.... I downloaded this s/w from the carprog page : Software for download - v02.97 which unzips to CARPROG V03.11 (I don't get how the v2.97 is actually v3.11??? but O.K.) Trying to have some demo running the program I found that: 1. For the picanto model the P/N 95910-07000 doesn't exist. This is a P/N that exists on many picanto's here in Greece. Does anyone know anything about this? 2. There is also no coverage for RIO model (Control module P/N: 0 K32B 67 7F0). This is not an EEPROM module but a SC509947CPU4 model. Is there any new version of KIA software waiting to release that contains this models? 3. Running the "demo" of the KIA s/w I found that on 3 out of 15 modules you have to use the A10 adapter which is for flashing the proccessor. But, when selecting any of these models, there is no picture or any other instruction to show you how to connect the cables of A10 adapter to the proccessor pins.???? Any idea? Thanks for reading! |

| Sometimes I will use other versions to compare crash and clear airbag dumps. Later I write to the airbag controller and bench test the best version that works. You should contact support for specific questions on coverage. When I purchase software, there is usually a manual or illustrations that come with the package. |

| There are times that when I find or manually clear an airbag file, the CarProg will write any file that I have to test. Again, bench test with simulated airbags for fault codes. | ||||
