VW log v3.08 is not designed to work with the RB4 and RB8 Audi instrument clusters. It is the CarProg that can read and write to those versions. The CarProg only has the ability to read the VW RB8 but VW log v3.08 can read the rest of those models.

Post the model years and cluster part numbers if possible. I'll tell you how I do my versions and remember, North American clusters are not equal to a European cluster in the same model year.

I read the PIN when the dump is read from the controller. I have no idea what your models are. Most of the ones I read are VDO.

Maybe you should post the scan of the cluster and dump to identify what system you have. You should provide more details like the year. I read the dump of a 2001 Golf IV with an RB4 cluster. The pin is easily read in the dump.

Yes the CarProg can read the Audi RB4 and RB8 clusters. The CarProg can get you the PIN code and help adapt the keys. For the VW RB clusters, post the dump.

Did you purchase the VAG Immo option for the CarProg?
