Problem with change KM PAssat B5

| HI! I have a problem with change km in this car, Passat B5 2003 2.0 Gasoline. I want change km. I can't connet to the dash, My steps are: I connect the adapter A1 to the car and carprog to the usb (I don't plug 12v). I use protocol PASSAT ->2007 V.0.5 and I press the button Change KM but show me a message Connect to CAN and It try 3 attemps but It don't connect. This protocol is correct for this car? DASH -> VW -> PASSAT -> PASSAT->2007 v0.5 My steps are correct no? I use SW carprog V6.30 What is the problem? Carprog support this car no? Greatings |

| The first thing you should do is connect a scan tool and see if you can read the dash. Use a tools similar to VCDS (Ross-tech). Check to see if you have a factory radio installed. If not, make sure the "K" line is not connected with the aftermarket radio. I you can not communicate with the dash, that problem must be repaired first. |
